Sweet dreams

Colin Ride, the cool and unflappable moderator of the Nominations Committee, was seen loitering in the foyer earlier today.  Colin has a big job to ensure that the committee achieves balance in the lists of names that it proposes to the Assembly – it’s a bit like trying to construct a three-dimensional jigsaw.

Colin says that he dreamt last night that an angel came down and sorted all the work of the Nominations Committee for him.  Then he had a second dream and realised that he was the angel!

Hopefully the work of the Nominations Committee won’t be a nightmare, and we all wish Colin sweet dreams for the rest of the Assembly.
